We use top-quality professional telecine equipment for the best images possible. We don't just project your movies on a wall and point a camera at it as some other companies do. Our telecines create an "aerial image". That means we focus directly on the film for the best possible quality transfer. There is no annoying "flicker". Your movies are color corrected and lighened/darkened as necessary to give the best possible image. Our telecines use a low wattage/low heat light source, so there is no danger of buring your precious movies. Our telecines are also sprocketless, so they can't damage the sprocket holes either.
We transfer your movies directly to DVD for the ultimate transfer quality and longevity. Each reel has its own icon on the DVD menu, so you can jump directly to any reel, or scan forward or backward in 5 minute increments by using the chapter stops we encode into the DVD, or scan at any speed your DVD player supports. You can also pause any time and get a perfect still-frame. You can leave the still on screen for an indefinite time without harming the DVD.
Your movies are returned to you in the same condition we receive them, other than being cleaned. Unlike some companies, we do not splice your movies onto big reels. We transfer them directly from your original reels and they are returned to you on the same reels.
Up to 2 hours of movies will fit on one DVD.
We charge by the reel, not by the foot. This way you will know exactly how much your transfer order will cost before you begin. Prices include transfer, DVD blank, imprint directly on the DVD and library case. Our rates are lower per foot than our competition... do the math... you'll see!

Is DVD better than VHS tape? DVD is totally digital and has twice the video quality of VHS. Its audio is better than an audio CD. Plus it will not wear out with repeated use, and when stored properly can last more than 100 years.
How long does it take to transfer my movies? Turnaround time is usually 5-7 business days, but may increase during certain times of the year.
Do you do the work yourselves or do you farm it out? We do all work right here on premisis, so you're assured of the finest quality transfers and care of your precious movie fim.
Can I order more than one copy of the DVD? Absolutely. You may order as many copies as you like at the same time as you order your transfer. If you decide to make more copies at a later time, simply return the master DVD to us for dupliation.
Where do I send my videos? You can download our order form online which gives you specific ordering and shipping instructions. Please be sure to ship via a traceable carrier such as UPS or Fed Ex. We will ship your order back to you via UPS ground unless otherwise instructed. If you live in the South Florida area, you may drop your order off at our offices. We also keep a copy of your transfer order on file until we know your order has arrived safely.
What are Chapters? Chapters are bookmarks on your DVD. These are referenced on the menu we create for your DVD. You can start from any chapter. While the DVD is playing, you can jump to the next chapter with a press of a button.
How can I be sure the DVD will play in my DVD player? Your DVD will play in almost any DVD player made since 2001. It will also play in any computer with a DVD drive and DVD playback software.
Will you edit my movies? The prices shown on our web site are for transfer of your movies without editing. We will transfer any film that has motion on it, regardless of content. Areas of totally clear or black movies of more than 10 seconds will be trimmed.
What is your policy concerning copyrighted material? We will not knowingly copy copyrighted material. Please do not submit videos which you do not have the right to copy.
Can I send both regular 8mm and super 8 in one order? Yes. We will transfer all the regular 8mm in the order you provide followed by all the super 8 in order. Please be sure all the 8mm reels are numbered together, followed by all the super 8 reels. We do not switch back and forth between formats.
Are my original movies safe? We have never lost or damaged a client's original movies. However, things can happen. We only ship via UPS and DHL for maximum reliability, and suggest you do the same if you are shipping your video to us. As an additional insurance measure, we will hold an additional copy of your movie transfers until we determine your order has arrived safely to you. This way, even if something is lost or damaged by the shipper, we will still have a copy of your transfer order.
Is the content of my video private? We guarantee the privacy of your video. The transfer process is largely automated except for quality control checks and set-up. We take the utmost care to be sure your tape is secure and kept confidential.
What if my movies won't fit on one DVD? You can expect to get 2 hours of video on a DVD. If your project requires more than one DVD, additional DVDs will be provided by us. You are not charged by the number of DVDs, only by the number of reels of movie film.
